Hospice of the Bluegrass provides quality end-of-life care to terminally ill patients and their families using a comprehensive spectrum of care – from palliative outpatient services to in-home medical services to family and community support. Grief and bereavement services extend to family members, caregivers and anyone in grief whether or not their loved one was a hospice patient. Hospice of the Bluegrass interdisciplinary team members operate in eleven sites in 32 northern, central and southeastern KY counties.
Why we’re great:
Hospice of the Bluegrass is privileged to serve patients and their families as they journey through an unfamiliar time. Hospice is not just for the last days of life; it is for the last phase of life. Hospice focuses on quality of life when quantity is limited. Patients are treated with dignity and their pain is brought under control allowing them to focus on living each day to the fullest.
